Cyberpunk 2077, the next game from CD Projekt RED, will be “far, far bigger” than The Witcher 3. If you’ve spent any time at all running around the frankly huge landscape of The Witcher 3 you’ll know just what a feat this is.
“The Witcher helped Cyberpunk quite a bit, because the game got so big and so complex that it really taught us,” said CDP visual effect artist Jose Teixeira when speaking to MCV recently. “If anything, working on The Witcher 3 was a really good and often brutal learning experience. Cyberpunk is going to benefit greatly from it. I can almost guarantee it,” he said.
Cyberpunk 2077 has no release window yet, but speculation puts it sometime in early 2017.
