Closed beta testing for Battleborn, Gearbox’s next… thing, begins soon and you can sign up for it right here.
This page on the Battleborn website suggests it’s some kind of First Person Shooter/MOBA blend with a healthy dollop of RPG elements for good measure. Also there’s a dude who looks like a mushroom.
Battleborn describes itself as “A tremendous band of badass heroes fight to protect the universe’s very last star from a mysterious evil in this next-gen shooter by the creators of Borderlands.”
I guess we’ll have to wait and see just what that means.
The closed beta for Battleborn opens 29 October and be open to players on PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. The game releases fully on 9 February 2016.
