EA Mobile titles quietly removed from sale

Earlier this month EA announced it was ending support for a range of mobile titles from sale on both iOS and Android devices.

The announcement of the removal was made on the same day that the titles were being pulled. EA’s statement reads, “We will not be supporting or updating these games going forward.

“We are focusing our efforts on developing new and exciting titles, as well as bringing new content and updates to existing popular games.”

This list of titles removed from sale is as follows;

  • Bejeweled 2
  • Burnout CRASH!
  • Dead Space
  • Don’t Fall Off
  • Flight Control
  • Flight Control Rocket
  • Fly With Me
  • Lemonade Tycoon
  • MASS EFFECT INFILTRATOR
  • MMA by EA SPORTS
  • Need for Speed Shift
  • Real Racing
  • Sims Medieval
  • Skate It
  • Spore Creatures
  • Spore Origins
  • SPY Mouse

While many of these titles won’t be hugely missed, it’s a shame to see Flight Control and Dead Space go. Both titles were developed in Melbourne by the then separate Firemint and Iron Monkey Studios before they merged and became FireMonkeys.
