The Diversion: Gamer beats Dark Souls using only voice commands

Reddit user GMBAT has taken the completing of Dark Souls to a whole new level, beating the entire game without ever touching a controller.

Posting on Reddit he explains how by using the voice recognition program VoiceAttack — which converts voice commands into key strokes — he was able to finish Dark Souls in 30 hours with 485 deaths.

GMBAT explains that the 1.5 second delay made the feat exceptionally difficult in addition to not being able to chain together commands quickly or easily. “30 hours of suffering, almost losing my voice several times, and 485 deaths later, I finally completed the game. 111 of those deaths were to [Ornstein and Smough] alone, not even counting the deaths on the way to the boss.”

GMBAT has previously beaten Bloodborne with a guitar controller and Dark Souls with Donkey Konga bongos.
