Star Wars: Battlefront’s Supremacy mode is just like Battlefield’s Conquest, but with Darth Vader and more

Star Wars: Battlefront will include a mode titled Supremacy which will seem familiar to fans of Battlefield’s Conquest mode.

In Supremacy, players will battle to control five points across the title’s largest maps, with each team starting the round with two points under their control. After the fifth point has been captured by either team the remaining control points will be available to be claimed in a set order, two at a time. So each team will be simultaneously trying to win a control point while defending one of their own.

Heroes, Villains, TIE fighters, X-Wings, Walkers and more will populate the map along with a mix of AI-controlled Rebels and Stormtroopers and human controlled players. Lead Designer Dennis Brannvall says of the mode, “You’re thrown into a massive frontline, where your screen is filled with adversaries: infantry, Heroes, Walkers, and starfighters. You can prepare for very heavy and focused Star Wars.”

Star Wars: Battlefront will be available for PC, PS4 and Xbox One on 17 November.
