Microsoft CEO talks Hololens release dates

In an interview with the BBC, Microsoft CEO Satya Nadella talks about the time frames for Hololens and when we can expect to get our hands on it. Nadella explained that the Hololens technology will be a “five year journey” but developers can expect to get their first hands on with Hololens within the next year.

Hololens is clearly an important part of Microsoft’s future but it doesn’t sound like it is going to be a direct competitor with Oculus or Morpheus on their initial release. Undoubtedly we’ll see plenty of Hololens before a full release, if E3 2015 was anything to go by.
