Melbourne’s Zero Latency offering up immersive VR experiences for up to 6 players

CNET‘s reporting on a new gaming centre, right here in Melbourne.

Called Zero Latency, the center offers an immersive virtual reality experience bolstered by 129 PlayStation Eye cameras.

One session can house up to six players in the centre’s 4,300 square-foot warehouse. Each player is kitted out with an Oculus Rift DK2 headset and has to really work, running, aiming and shooting a VR gun in a game featuring zombies, for instance.

Zero Latency is the brainchild of Scott Vandonkelaar, and is three years in the making.

The VR centre is located at 22-32 Steel Street in North Melbourne. More information can be found here.
