Kojima teases Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain launch trailer

In a couple of Tweets, Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain Director Hideo Kojima, has teased the release of the upcoming launch trailer.

It’s become a bit of a pattern for the latest in the Metal Gear Solid franchise for Kojima or his cohorts to announce a future announcement. It’s all very meta, which in retrospect, perfectly suits the franchise.

In Kojima’s tweets (below) an image of a screen with “Available Sept. 1st” is displayed, presumably a part of the trailer. In a second tweet (in Japanese) Kojima says he is endeavouring to include as few spoilers as possible in the trailer and that the theme of it is the “evolution and harmony of Metal Gear.” Thanks to DualShockers for the translation.

Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain will be available for PC, PS3, PS4, Xbox One and Xbox 360 on 1 September.
