Nintendo is looking to launch their own Loot Crate service called N-Box

Sources close to Nintendo allege that the company is preparing to launch a Loot Crate-like service called N-Box.

For those unaware, the popular Loot Crate service is a subscription-based offering that provides myriad ‘geeky’ pop culture items to its members via post.

The sources, speaking with MCV, said that N-Box inclusions will be items like clothes and toys, all featuring Nintendo IP.

The N-Box service will allegedly offer up three, six and twelve month subscriptions.

Retailer Zavvi has a similar service called Z-Box that’s operational; said company is owned by The Hut Group, who also run Nintendo’s online store.

Nintendo hasn’t commented on the rumour.
