No Man’s Sky’s depth detailed at E3

No Man’s Sky was played as part of Sony’s E3 press conference.

The demo featured the player flying into an on-going space battle, taking sides after a quick bit of contemplation.

An attempt to derail the scale of the game was also provided, and its absurdly mind-blowing.

When encountering new planets, scans can be performed to find points of interest, or beacons, to further explore.

Scans can be performed from space or on a planet. If they come up with new discoveries, they can be uploaded with beacons.

A release date hasn’t yet been named, though the game was confirmed to have its console debut on PS4. Does that mean we’ll also see it on Xbox One?
