Destiny’s “The Taken King” adds a new sub-class for your Guardian

Well, it seems that Destiny‘s next expansion truly is “The Taken King”.

Kotaku has received promo materials for the next — and largest — DLC installment, set to cost $40 USD.

New Strikes, PvP maps and a new Raid featuring baddie Oryx come with “The Taken King”.

More importantly, each Guardian class gets a new sub-class:

  • Hunter: gravity bow super (Void)
  • Titan: flaming hammer (Solar)
  • Warlock: electrical storm super (Arc)

If you go off Kotaku’s recently-received promotional material, Destiny‘s “The Taken King” will be available from 15 September.

We’re sure to see the expansion at E3 this year.
