Yooka-Laylee, the spiritual successor to Banjo-Kazooie, hits Kickstarter shortly

Playtonic Games has confirmed that the Kickstarter campaign for Yooka-Laylee, its spiritual successor to the Banjo-Kazooie franchise, will begin shortly.

Yooka-Laylee, formerly known as Project Ukulele (see what they did there?) will star Yooka the chameleon and Laylee the bat.

Playtonic says the game will be “between the size of Banjo-Kazooie and Banjo-Tooie” and is planned for Windows PC, Wii U, Xbox One and PS4.

The Kickstarter for Yooka-Laylee goes live at 2.00 am AEST tomorrow morning.
