Studio responsible for Assassin’s Creed multiplayer now working on The Division

Ubisoft has announced another of their studios is kicking in on development of Tom Clancy’s The Division. Ubisoft Annecy will be joining existing development studios Massive Entertainment, Red Storm and Reflections on the ambitious shooter.

Ubisoft Annecy is best known for their work in the online space, starting with the well regarded multiplayer modes of the Splinter Cell series including Pandora Tomorrow, Chaos Theory and Double Agent. Their most recent work has been with the multiplayer component of the Assassin’s Creed series.

Tom Clancy’s The Division arrives later in 2015 for Xbox One, PS4 and PC.
