Assassin’s Creed movie starts filming in September

The way video game movie adaptations are these days I don’t believe they are coming out until I see them with my own eyes, but the Assassin’s Creed movie looks to be the real deal as actor Michael Fassbender, speaking with comingsoon.net, confirmed that filming begins in September.

While Fassbender was coy about the role he plays, it is rumoured to be original series ‘real world’ protagonist Desmond Miles. While recent Assassin’s Creed stories have become parodies of themselves, there is some interesting lore to work with over the series and plenty of fascinating locations to set a movie.

They won’t be able to keep these secrets forever, so expect to find out more when filming begins in September.
