Mortal Kombat X might still be a week away, but keen mobile and tablet gamers can just on the free-to-play version for their devices right now. From the trailer it has certainly captured the spirit of Mortal Kombat X.

Gameplay wise it is a fair bet that this is a reskin of the WWE Immortals free-to-play game released earlier this year, itself a reskin of the Injustice: Gods Among Us free-to-play game. Both of those have been reasonably well received for mobile releases so it isn’t terrible news for Mortal Kombat fans, just don’t go in expecting a scaled down version of the console game, due out 14 April for Xbox One, PS4 and PC.
