Star Wars: Battlefront design director clarifies single-player content

Star Wars: Battlefront is causing a stir for many reasons; the incredible graphics, the great reveal trailer and the recreation of some of the most iconic battles in Star Wars. One less positive talking point is the lack of a traditional single player campaign, and Dice design director Niklas Fegraeus has taken to Twitter to clarify the single player content of Star Wars: Battlefront:

Lacking traditional single player content is still a big deal for many gamers, as Respawn Entertainment found out with the lukewarm reception to Titanfall’s ‘solo’ content. The ‘Missions’ Fegraeus mentions sound similar but the addition of bots is a big improvement on Titanfall’s approach.

Fegraeus has been answering a lot of questions about the game on Twitter, you can check all of his responses in his feed. He confirms split screen play for local co-op, 8 multiplayer maps and a focus solely on the original trilogy. Stevivor were lucky enough to get to attend the official reveal of Star Wars: Battlefront, you can read our preview here.
