Deep Down trademark extension continues hope for a Western release

Dualshockers is reporting that Capcom has been granted an extension on their trademark for Deep Down, their free-to-play PS4 exclusive. This is the second extension granted on the mark, indicating that Capcom want to keep their options open when it comes to bringing the oft delayed game to Western shores.

That isn’t to say the game will be coming anytime soon, this is more clerical work (something Sony has continually managed to mess up) than anything else, but letting the trademark lapse would be a bad sign for a future release outside of Japan.
