PS Vita update 3.50 adds customisation, accessibility and improved Remote Play functionality

While the PS4 received major update 2.50 yesterday, the PS Vita wasn’t left out, with update 3.50 mirroring the PS4’s improved Remote Play functionality in addition to customisable controls and accessibility options.

The major changes/additions brought by update 3.50 are the Remote Play improvements, removal of Maps app, addition of accessibility options and PSN has been renamed PlayStation Network. The accessibility options allow users to invert colours, zoom, increase the size of text, higher contrast, customisable controls and closed captions.

The customisable controls allow users to set any button as any other. This means that fully customised control schemes can be created which will allow for not only accessibility, but other interesting ways to play.
