Jackbox Games’ next party game, Quiplash, now on Kickstarter

Jackbox Games, developers of You Don’t Know Jack! and Fibbage, are back on Kickstarter with their newest party game, Quiplash.

“The game is super-simple,” Jackbox Games said of Quiplash. “Use your phone or tablet to answer simple prompts like ‘Something you’d be surprised to see a donkey do’ or ‘A good catchphrase to yell every time you finish pooping.’

“Your answer will then be pitted against another player’s answer in a head-to-head clash of cleverness and comedy – or maybe just a battle of ‘Which answer is least stupid?'”

The game has already met its goal of $15,000 with 17 days remaining in the campaign. Reward tiers and stretch goals have now been added to the campaign.

Quiplash will be published on Windows PC worldwide, and on PC, Xbox One, PS4 and PS3 in North America. Jackbox Games is eyeing a winter 2015 release.

The author of this post has pledged $20 USD to Quiplash‘s Kickstarter campaign.
