Watch: The Super Mario World Credits Warp speedrun performed without an emulator

This speedrun is cool in a number of different ways.

First, it legitimises a World Record speedrun attempt on Super Mario World using an emulator. Second, it does the same time, but WITHOUT said emulator.

In the speedrun, coined the “Credits Warp”, SethBling sets up the “Yoshi’s Island 2” stage within Super Mario World in such a way that it writes a specific set of data to the game’s RAM and then executes it, causing the game to instantly skip to its end-game credits.

Neat, eh?

SethBling also did a faster run, which you can watch here.
