“Get to Work” in April with The Sims 4

EA today announced the “Get to Work” expansion pack for The Sims 4. The expansion brings a number of new professions into The Sims 4, including policing, medicine, science and retail.

The policing path lets you take your Sims from lowly Cadets all the way through to Chief of Police. On the way there you’ll need to carry out detective work, investigate crime scenes and interrogate other Sims. Being a doctor means performing surgery, treating Sim diseases and also delivering babies. The scientist career will enable your Sims to discover new inventions and items and give them the power to use these items for good or evil.

Entering into the exciting world of retail in “Get to Work” functions somewhat differently to the other new career paths. Players can create their very own retail stores including bakeries, clothing boutiques, art galleries, bookstores and the like the customise the business in Build Mode. Players will have complete control over the business from what items to sell, who to hire and fire and even the price of the items.

Each of the new career paths comes with a new career venue — hospital, police station, science lab and retail district — to be explored. Two new skills will also be added; photography and baking.

Finally, “Get to Work” adds aliens to The Sims 4. Help your Sims uncover which of their neighbours are really aliens in disguise and then explore the new alien dimension.

The Sims 4 “Get to Work” will be available for PC and Mac in April.
