Day one update coming to Evolve

Turtle Rock has announced that Evolve will be receiving a day one update in order to address things the developer learned during the Open Beta weekend.

In a post on the official Evolve site, Turtle Rock says, “Truth is, that long weekend was a big learning experience for us. As a result, on day one – before you even start your first match on the live servers – we’ve made a number of refinements through a day-one patch.”

The patch includes numerous tweaks to Hunters and Monsters — especially the Wraith — based on both the Big Alpha and Open Beta. Turtle Rock put together an infographic breaking down the Open Beta on its conclusion.

The day one patch will also optimise performance and improve loading times for both the game itself and individual levels, numerous bug fixes found during the Open Beta, new elite skins for both Hunters and Monsters and connectivity to Evolve: Hunter’s Quest for Android, iOS and Windows Phone.

Evolve will be available for PC, PS4 and Xbox One on 10 February.
