Following a short delay, Capcom’s Resident Evil: Revelations 2 will begin its (undead) life without online functionality in Raid mode.
Capcom confirmed that from the first episode’s release, Raid mode will be offline only, either in solo or split-screen co-op. Online functionality will be added after the game’s final episode has been released.
Revelations 2‘s first episode will come with 54 Raid mode missions across three levels of difficulty. Episode 2 and 3 each contain 36 Raid missions, and Episode 4 is said to bring another 68 missions.
Capcom fleshed out Raid mode in the video below:
How about that dancing?
Raid mode will feature 15 characters across maps from Resident Evil: Revelations, Revelations 2 and Resident Evil 6.
The first episode of Resident Evil: Revelations 2 will be available from 25 February on Windows PC, Xbox 360, Xbox One, PS3 and PS4. Episodes follow weekly, finishing on 18 March. All episodes will then be released as a bundle from 20 March.
