Halo games were doing limited editions back before it was the cool thing to do, so naturally Halo 5: Guardians will be receiving the same treatment. Microsoft have announced two special editions of Halo 5, the Limited Edition and the Limited Collector’s Edition.
The Limited Edition will retail for $149.95 AUD and include exclusive digital content, a poster and some vaguely described exclusive “items” in a traditional Halo steel case.
The Limited Collector’s Edition retails for a whopping $349.95 AUD and is exclusive to EB Games. It will include all the Limited Edition content plus an individually numbered, 343 Industries commissioned commemorative statue, plus more yet to be announced extras.
Microsoft and 343 are holding things close to their armour clad chests here, expect bigger reveals of the exclusive items and statue at a later date. For now, just know that if you want that Limited Collector’s Edition, you best start saving now. Xbox Wire has the full details.
