Tales of Hearts R gets local release date

Bandai Namco have announced that Tales of Hearts R is set for release in Australia 13 November for the PS Vita. Tales of Hearts R is a remake of Tales of Hearts, a 2008 Nintendo DS entry into the “Tales of” RPG series (you may be familiar with Tales of Vesperia or Tales of Xillia for Xbox 360 and PS3). The original DS game never made it outside of Japan.

Being a new release in 2014, Tales of Hearts R will also have a “Day One Edition”, featuring outfits from Tales of Vesperia, and a chance to win a personalised Japanese Collectors Edition of the game, signed by the team. There are also bonus costumes for those who preorder. While that content sounds underwhelming, the collectors edition competition has a unique prize that will excite fans of the series, if they are lucky enough to win it. Those who don’t will have to be satisfied with getting to play the game locally for the first time.
