The hype train from Mordor has been rolling for weeks, and today it finally reaches its destination on Australian shores. Middle-Earth: Shadow of Mordor is available now for Xbox One and PS4 (it’s been out for a week for PC gamers). Just in case you hadn’t seen enough of the game, the launch trailer is embedded below.
Interested parties should note that all players will have access to the “Dark Ranger Pack” immediately, featuring a new character skin and challenge mode. The “season pass” has been outlined previously, and will set you back $36.95 AUD. Playstation 4 owners will also get two exclusive missions, the appetizingly named “Blood Hunters” and “Flesh Burners” missions.
Our review will be coming soon, but early reports are that this game is pretty damn good. RRP is $99.95 AUD but sniff around and you should be able to find it a lot cheaper than that.
