Lame Game Marathon returns in mid-November to raise funds for UNICEF

The Lame Game Marathon returns on 15 November 2014 for its fourth consecutive year of UNICEF fundraising.

Partnering with UNICEF and Twitch, the Lame Game Marathon features a ton of solid blokes playing atrocious games for your enjoyment. It’s all about schadenfreude, you know?

This year’s selection of games hasn’t been announced yet. Further details about the event can be found here.

Members of the Lame Game Marathon will also take to a PAX AUS panel on 1 November, 9.30 pm, to discuss the event.

Last year, the Lame Game crew raised $7,800 for UNICEF. Those monies were put to use to aid underprivileged children around the globe. As you’d expect, the aim is to beat last year’s donations — those who wish donate to the cause ahead of time can do so here.

News Editor Leo Stevenson and Podcast Producer Shane Wall are heavily involved with the Lame Game Marathon. Editor Steve Wright might appear on this year’s stream for an hour or two, but he hardly has to do any work for the event otherwise. In fact, he insists upon having to do as little as possible. Still, we thought you should know; disclosure disclosure disclosure.
