The Xbox One will soon be available in 29 additional countries

Microsoft has announced that the Xbox One will soon make its official debut in 29 new countries, with 28 confirmed for September.

Both Chile and Colombia now have access to Xbox One after it officially launched in those regions 2 September. Japan also has access from today — 4 September — while 17 countries including Belgium, Norway, Greece, Sweden, UAE and more will have access from 5 September.

Throughout the remainder of September others like China, Israel and Russia will see the Xbox One launch. Microsoft has promised more details forthcoming soon for the launch in Argentina. The full list of regions and dates is available here.

Will this mean a significant increase in Xbox One sales?
