Team Meat has announced Super Meat Boy Forever an auto-runner starring everybody’s favourite, skinless meat sack.
SMB:F features classic Meat Boy gameplay with auto-running rather than full control. Releasing for tablets, phones and PC, players tap to jumps as well as ducking to go under obstacles or fall more quickly through the air.
SMB:F includes a full story, six chapters and twice as many bosses as Super Meat Boy. It will also feature a dark world, warp zones and new playable characters.
Team Meat have stressed that SMB:F is not an endless runner and will not “use abusive $ tactics to drain your wallet.” It also announced that “Mewgenics” is not cancelled, but merely on hiatus while SMB:F is developed.
