Sony has announced today that free-to-play endless runner Run Sackboy! Run! will be coming to Android, iOS and PS Vita in October.
Playing Run Sackboy! Run! will enable players to unlock exclusive costumes for LittleBigPlanet 3. The simple premise is the Negativitron is back causing havoc in Craftworld and Sackboy must escape by using tap and swipe gestures. Run Sackboy! Run! will feature three classic LBP worlds — The Gardens, The Canyons and Avalonia — with players trying to stay alive for as long as possible.
As Sackboy tries to escape the Negativitron he’ll need to collect bubbles in order to purchase costumes and upgrades. Each costume comes with an in built multiplier so they’ll help you reach even higher scores as will upgrades like the Jet Pack, Shield, Magnet and Glider. Much like Jet Pack Joyride, there’ll be a mission ladder system so that there is always a new objective or goal to strive for. Finally, there’ll also be a social system for challenging friends and leaderboards.
Run Sackboy! Run! will be available for Android, iOS and PS Vita in October.
