EA Canada to add NHL 15 current-gen modes over September, October

EA Canada today confirmed that they’ll update NHL 15 with modes currently missing from the game on current-gen systems. This news comes after many were dismayed that the game’s EA Access trial was lacking a great number of modes that existed in NHL 14.

NHL 15 Producer Sean Ramjagsingh took to EA’s forums to proclaim that updates are expected in the coming months. Offline Playoff mode tournaments should be avaialble this month, alongside Coach Feedback in Be a Pro, 3 Stars of the Game stats and updates to Hockey Ultimate Team.

GM Draft will be ready for October, alongside Online Team Play.

Ramjagsingh did say that Online Team Play will be limited to 5v5 rather than 6v6, saying that playing as a goalie would “add another level of complexity.”

“We want to get OTP into your hands ASAP as we continue to work on fleshing the experience,” he added.

NHL 15 is available today in North America and from 11 September in Australia on Xbox 360, Xbox One, PS3 and PS4.
