The team at Ubisoft Montreal responsible for development of Child of Light has been formally installed as a core team at the studio.
CVG reports the team is working on a new project and spoke with VP of Creative Lionel Raynaud who revealed the studio is keen to “encourage other initiatives like Child of Light and there’s a chance that we will have many more games like that in the future.”
Raynaud said that he was “super happy” with Child of Light and was “proud to deliver something new and unique – a lot of people were surprised that Montreal was delivering this kind of game.” He added, “I already have many different projects that are in the pitch stage – I even had one in my office this morning, which was super exciting.”
Child of Light is available for PC, PS3, PS4, PS Vita, Wii U, Xbox 360 and Xbox One.
