Gameplay updates and tweaks include manually being able to touch gloves at the beginning of a fight by pressing L2 or LT, dependant of console, finishing the fight by jumping on an opponent when they’re downed and pummeling them during a KO, sprawls to defend against a power takedown, breaking clinches when backed up against the cage, removing power takedowns and sweeps from fighters who wouldn’t perform them in real life, preventing stamina from regenerating while blocking and changes to sweep defense that give the dominant fighter an advantage in reversing full guard to mount.

EA Sports UFC is available now for PS4 and Xbox One.
