Far Cry 4’s antagonist Pagan Min wears a pink suit because he’s a mummy’s boy

…according to Executive Producer Dan Hay anyway. In a video interview with Ubiblog, Hay said the suit was an “homage to his mum”, but stopped short of explaining exactly what that means.

Min’s fashion sense and style are indicative of the “charm and sophistication” inherent in a man with an entire nation in the palm of his hand said Hay, adding “When you’re making fun of the suit, you’re making fun of his mom. And I would not make fun of Pagan Min’s mom.”

You can watch the video below in which Hay also briefly discusses protagonist Ajay Ghale.

Ghale is Min’s “guest of honour” and during the game players will uncover exactly what the two men’s relationship is, why Ghale is known by NPCs and just who exactly he is.

To cap things off, Hay discusses the game’s Himalayan locale and the experience of sending a team to the region to ensure the game is as authentic as possible.

Far Cry 4 will be available on PC, PS3, PS4, Xbox 360 and Xbox One on 21 November.
