Nintendo today announced third-person shooter, Splatoon, during their digital event.
Players will have the ability to switch between human and squid forms allowing for some interesting game mechanics. Shooting ink is only possible while in human form, while utilizing the increasing spread of ink is done in squid form.
Squid are able to dive into their own coloured ink, allowing for quicker movement and access to other areas. Rival players ink will drastically slow your progress in both forms so ink coverage becomes an important strategy.
Splatoon heads to Wii U in 2015.
