2014 Pokémon Video Games Australian National Championships to take place in Melbourne in July

Nintendo Australia recently confirmed that the 2014 Pokémon Video Game Australian National Championships will be held 13 July at the Melbourne Town Hall, in Swanston Street, Melbourne.

Over 1000 Australian and New Zealand competitors took part in Regional Championships, playing Pokémon X and Pokémon Y on Nintendo 3DS ; winners earned flights and accommodation to the National Championships.

New contestants can register and play on the day. All that you’ll need to bring is a 3DS and a copy of Pokémon X or Pokémon Y.
