Although EA released 2014 FIFA World Cup Brazil recently, it was not available for PS4 or Xbox One, much to the chagrin of fans. Now, the publisher has announced that FIFA 14 on current-gen will be updated to include a World Cup mode.
The new World Cup mode will be patched into FIFA 14 on both PS4 and Xbox One on 29 May, for free. This new mode is in addition to the previously announced FIFA 14 Ultimate Team World Cup update and includes all 32 teams competing in the 2014 competition as well as the official game ball. The new mode only allows friendly matches however and no official tournaments.
