Bandai Namco has announced that a sequel to PAC-MAN and the Ghostly Adventures — appropriately appended with the number 2 — will be heading to 3DS, PS3, Wii U and Xbox 360 later this year. The first game is based on the animated series of the same name and as such features platforming gameplay rather than classic PAC-MAN arcade.
In game, PAC-MAN is able to consume power berries and thus transform into special forms — much like Kirby — and pilot a range of vehicles that feature in the animated series.
