Valve adds “virtual reality mode” into its latest beta client

Valve today advised they’ve added a “virtual reality mode” into the latest beta version of the Steam client.

The new mode means that the “-vr” command line option have been removed in place of a button in the “View” menu. The VR button will only appear for those with with SteamVR installed and when a head-mounted display like the Oculus Rift is detected.

Have at it, virtual reality fiends!
