EA aware of Titanfall issues, offering solutions

EA has updated its technical support page for Titanfall to assist those users experiencing a range of technical hitches across both the PC and Xbox One versions.

In a statement on the tech support page EA acknowledges that players may experience issues with the game and offers advice on how to best get back into the action. “When fighting it out in Titanfall, you may run into an occasional hiccup, issue, glitch, or problem that could interrupt or limit or prohibit your gameplay. Below, find all the gameplay-affecting issues we’re currently aware of and tracking, and any workarounds or troubleshooting steps available to get you back in the game,” reads the statement.

Aside from the glitches and bugs listed on the tech support page it’s also still apparent that Optus internet customers are unable to play Titanfall as they were unable to play the beta. The internet woes for the game don’t end there though with EA pulling the game from release in South Africa saying “the performance rates [of internet] in South Africa were not as high as we need to guarantee a great experience.”

In Australia we don’t currently have a local Microsoft Azure data centre and instead use the closest one which is located in Singapore. Respawn’s Vince Zampella announced that “good news” was coming for Australian Titanfall fans with many believing this would be the announcement of a local data centre. Only time will tell.

If you’re experiencing issues with Titanfall head to the tech support page.

Titanfall is available now for PC and Xbox One and will launch for Xbox 360 on 28 March.
