Latest Killer Instinct patch resets and the repairs Jail system and fixes Spinal

Double Helix has posted in the official Killer Instinct forums advising that a planned patch has been scheduled and will be applied some time in the near future. The patch serves to main purposes with the first resetting and repairing the Jail system and the second being to fix Spinal.

Double Helix notes that the Jail system “had a few issues on release but due to constant updates from the community, we’re happy to share this recent version which will have the JAIL system work as intended. Again, we extend our gratitude for your feedback and assistance.” The patch will reset all Jail stats, essentially giving all players a clean slate. It will also prevent both players being sent to Jail on disconnect and has adjusted the percentage rate for disconnected matches that will cause a player to be sent to Jail.

Regarding Spinal, the patch will fix multiple issues with the character including teleporting crashing and desync, manuals being unbreakable and counters being inaccessible after opening with a divekick and the skeleport linker not crossing up correctly.

The patch will also apply multiple other fixes which can be found on the official forums.

Killer Instinct is now available exclusively for Xbox One.
