This is what PlayStation Plus members will receive in January

Sony has announced the additions to the Instant Game Collection for January and wow if it isn’t a big month.

Coming to PlayStation Plus for PS3 and PS Vita 25 December and PS4 9 January are a range of titles across all platforms.

For the PS4 you’ll get access to Don’t Starve in its console debut. For the PS3, you can look forward to downloading DmC: Devil May Cry and Borderlands 2. While for PS Vita you can get your hands on Soul Sacrifice and BlazBlue Continuum Shift Extend.

Don’t Starve has been available on Steam since April this year and is an action-adventure with elements of survival horror. The aim of the game is to survive as long as possible without starving, going insane or dying at the hands of a monster. It will be available from 9 January.

Leo awarded DmC a 9 out of 10 in his review saying, “All in all DmC: Devil May Cry is a fantastically fun game. Fans may have been unhappy with the changed made to the setting and to Dante, but when it comes down to it the essence of Devil May Cry has been reverently preserved. The stylish and over-the-top action is still present as is the ridiculous story, albeit told in earnest this time. Dante is dead. Long live Dante.”

In his review of Borderlands 2, Matt awarded it a 9 and said, “All in all, Borderlands 2 is the best kind of sequel; it’s the same as its originator, but with more stuff. The game is huge, the guns are (as the trailers said) bazilliondier, and you will indeed joy-puke your guts out as you explore all the humour and areas on offer “.

Soul Sacrifice is an action-RPG in which the player can sacrifice parts of their body to create powerful attacks. Their body is not an infinite resource however and must be managed accordingly.

BlazBlue Continuum Shift Extend is the lastest in the series and introduces four new stories, hardcore mode and Relius Clover as a playable character.
