One of the very best things about your new PS4 is that little button to the left of the touchpad. With a simple press you can take a screenshot of whatever is on screen and can access the SHARE menu to edit and upload your videos and screenshots.
By default, the button is set to standard capturing which means — as seen above — that a single press will display the SHARE menu, a long press will take a screenshot while a double press will set the start point for a new video capture.
However, to make it more simple to take a screenshot you can choose alternate settings for the SHARE button. To access the settings press the SHARE button to access the SHARE menu. Then press Options. You’ll be presented with the screen above. By choosing the easy screenshots option a single press of the SHARE button will take a screenshot rather than having to hold the button of enter the SHARE menu every time. Nifty.
