Holy crap, I got engaged (and so did Master Chief)!

Yeah, I know: the only real relation my news has to the gaming industry is that I skipped EB Games Expo this past weekend to ask my boyfriend to marry me.

But, yeah. Two days ago, I asked my boyfriend if he wanted to get hitched. I wasn't dressed up as Master Chief (though, that DID happen this weekend at EB Expo), but nevertheless, Matt agreed.

That's obviously the EB Games Expo proposal just above, not mine. And, come to think of it, my boyfriend probably agreed to marry me because I chose NOT to wear a Master Chief outfit. Still, each to their own; a massive congratulations go out from Stevivor.com to the Chief and his Cortana.

Anyways, Matt and I are at the top of this page. He's the one on the left, and I'm the lucky one.

So why the post? To brag, of course, but I also wanted to thank EVERYONE for their well-wishes so far. A number of self-professed "random readers" took to Twitter since the news 'broke' on Saturday night to offer congratulations. Honestly, it made me tear up a little. From the bottom of my heart, thank you SO MUCH for being awesome and part of the Stevivor family.

Most of all: Matt, thanks for saying yes.
