Tim Cahill returns as the cover star of FIFA 14

Electronic Arts yesterday confirmed that Australian Socceroo Tim Cahill returns as the cover star on Australian and New Zealand copies of FIFA 14.

“With Tim Cahill on our team again this year, we’re excited to have one of Australia’s most loved and respected athletes appearing on the FIFA 14 cover” said Arbie Artinian, EA Sports Label Manager, Asia Pacific. “Tim continues to be a huge supporter and great friend of EA Sports, bringing his passion and talent to help bring FIFA to life for its biggest fans and a new generation of players.”

“The FIFA franchise is such an ingrained part of in football culture for so many millions of fans worldwide,” Cahill said. “I’m thrilled to be working with the EA SPORTS team again for the launch of FIFA 14.”

With his fifth cover appearance in a row, Cahill continues his role as Australia’s leading EA Sports Football Ambassador.

FIFA 14 will be available from 26 September in Australia and 27 September in New Zealand on Xbox 360, PC and PS3. The game will also be available on Xbox One and PS4 later in the year.
