The Aussie version of Saints Row IV won’t be compatible with full, international versions

Yesterday, the Saints Row Facebook page confirmed that the newly amended (and MA15+ classified) Australian version of Saints Row IV will be incompatible with versions other regions when it comes to co-operative play.

The Australian version of the game has a 20 minute mission omitted due to narcotics usage.

While we are very proud of all our different missions, we do feel that Saints Row IV on the whole remains largely the same without this single optional mission, and we also feel that you deserve to know what you are getting in Australia,” the Facebook post reads. “Due to the changes we were forced to make, this version is different than the version rated by rating boards like the ESRB, USK, and PEGI, which is why it will be incompatible with those versions in co-op.”

Does this announcement cause you to think twice about purchasing an Australian version of Saints Row IV? Let us know in the comments, below.

(Yeah, we know the censored pic above really has nothing to do with narcotics, but we thought it was funny nonetheless.)
