Injustice DLC characters take the fight to the Wii U eShop

Game Info

GAME NAME: Injustice: Gods Among Us

DEVELOPER(S): NetherRealm

PLATFORM(S): Wii U, PS3, Xbox 360

GENRE(S): Fighting

RELEASE DATE(S): 17 April 2013

The Wii U version of Injustice: Gods Among Us was patched yesterday to include the ability to download the four additional characters already released for PS3 and Xbox 360.

NetherRealm updated the Wii U edition to version 1.1.0 and added the existing DLC to the Wii U eShop. Owners of a Wii U copy of the game can now download Lobo, Batgirl, Scorpion and General Zod for $4.99 USD (local pricing unavailable at the time of writing). The Injustice season pass however, it noticeably absent from the eShop.

The eShop also offers four free character skins in addition to the various skin packs -- "Blackest Night", "Flashpoint" -- which have been available for PS3 and Xbox 360 for some time.

While the update has added the ability to download additional content, the Wii U version still sadly lacks the ability to create lobbies for Nintendo Network friends.
