Superbot operations “substantially shrunk” after leaving Sony, new IP in the works

PlayStation All-Stars Battle Royale developer Superbot has “substantially shrunk” their operations following the end of their working agreement with Sony earlier in the year.

The split with Sony saw the developer make many staff position redundant. “We have substantially shrunk down our operations but are still going strong while we work on a new IP,” director of operations David Yang said when speaking with Edge.

So while it’s sad to see people lose their jobs, it’s good to see a talented development studio continue and hopefully produce more great games in the future.
