Has EA stopped working on Wii U games?

So, it looks like Need for Speed: Most Wanted U might not have done as well as EA wanted it to.

EA's COO Peter Moore recently sat down with GameSpot to discuss the state of the company following the departure of its CEO, John Riccitiello. “We still have thousands of people focused on developing current-generation Xbox 360 and PS3 games, as well as people focused now on the next generation when that finally arrives," Moore said.

Let's get that straight: Xbox 360, PS3? Check. Next-generation consoles that haven't released? Check.

Wii U? Doesn't sound like it.

Has Moore simply forgotten about Nintendo's console? Are we reading too much into this? After all, Moore didn't specifically mention PC either...

Let us know what you think -- but remember, the recently confirmed Battlefield 4 will not be making an appearance on the Wii U.
