American McGee wants to Kickstart Alice 3

Taking to Facebook American McGee – creator of the American McGee’s Alice franchise – has posed a series of questions to fans;

Alice Fans,
Questions for you:
1) If we could get the rights from EA, would you play “Alice 3?”
2) If you’d play “Alice 3,” would you back it on Kickstarter?
3) If you said “yes” to those two things, make some noise – I’m trying to gauge interest in case I happen to discuss this with EA during GDC in 2 weeks. The more interest there is, the more seriously they’ll take the conversation.

McGee’s studio’s, Spicy Horse, last major release was Alice: Madness Returns in 2011 with their next project being the Kickstarter funded Akaneiro: Demon Hunters, a Japanese influenced take on Red Riding Hood.

I’m a big fan of the Alice games so if this Kickstarter goes ahead I’ll definitely jump on board. How do you guys feel about Alice 3?
